About

R. Andrew Mikels has served in local church ministry since 1995. He was reared in a Christian home and is thankful for godly parents. His passion to see strong, healthy local churches resulted from his introduction to godly forefathers such as C.H. Spurgeon and Jonathan Edwards in 1998. He studied Pastoral Ministry in Springfield, Missouri, and later received his MDiv from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He is married to Karen and has four children.

He has served in central Kentucky since 2014 and has labored for the clarity of gospel proclamation and for a culture of discipleship in which the congregation is shaped by the Word of God.

The Parson is thankful for contributing scholars and pastors and the articles they submit to this site.
